Panel

A plain lv_obj with the theme's card look - a background, a border and rounded corners. The usual way to group widgets: children move with it and its Layout setting can arrange them.

Group: Basic · Default size: 200 × 120 · Style parts: Main, Scrollbar

A dropped Panel: a white rounded box with a thin grey border in the middle of the light screen.
A Panel as it is dropped. It has no settings of its own: what it does is hold other widgets.

Example: a card holding a caption and a switch

  1. Drag a Panel onto the screen. Open Geometry and set X 50, Y 70, Width 220 and Height 100.
  2. Drag a Label and drop it inside the panel’s box: it goes into the panel. Set its Text to Living room and, under Style settings > Text, its font size to 16 px.
  3. Drop a Switch into the panel under it, and another Label beside the switch saying Lights.
  4. In the Hierarchy the three are under Panel1. Drag the panel and they come with it; their X and Y count from inside the panel’s padding.
A white card on the screen with the heading Living room and a switch with the word Lights beside it.
The card, with its three children.
The Hierarchy: Screen1, under it Panel1, and under Panel1 the widgets Room, Lights and LightsCaption.
What is in the panel, in the Hierarchy.
