Checkbox

A tick box with a caption.

Example: a button that waits for a tick

  1. On the Data tab add a Boolean variable called agreed.
  2. Drag a Checkbox onto the screen, name it Agree and set its Title to I have read the terms. Bind it: Variable agreed, Drives Checked, Direction Widget -> variable.
  3. Drag a Button under it saying Continue. Bind it: Variable agreed, Drives Disabled (greyed, takes no touch), Formula !raw.
  4. Press Preview: the button is greyed and takes no touch until the box is ticked.
Preview: an unticked checkbox, I have read the terms, above a greyed-out Continue button.
Unticked: Continue is disabled.
Preview: the checkbox ticked and the Continue button blue.
Ticked: Continue can be pressed.
The button's Data bindings: Variable agreed, Drives Disabled (greyed, takes no touch), Formula !raw.
The button is disabled while agreed is 0.
