Elecrow CrowPanel Advanced 10.1 inch ESP32-P4
10.1 inch 1024x600 MIPI-DSI panel (EK79007) with GT911 touch, an I2S speaker amplifier and Wi-Fi through an ESP32-C6 on an ESP32-P4. The 7 and 9 inch are the same board. Compiled, not yet seen on a board.

Building for it
A project is made for one toolchain, picked when you start it. For this board you can use two of the four:
| Toolchain | |
|---|---|
| Arduino (C++) | Every board, every widget and every peripheral here. The most control, and the most to set up. Start a project |
| MicroPython | The MicroPython export has not been built for this chip yet. It is written for the ESP32, S2, S3, C3 and C6. |
| ESPHome | The ESP32-P4 is only useful here with a MIPI-DSI panel, which this export does not write yet. |
| ESP-IDF (C) | Espressif's own framework: esp_lcd, the component registry and idf.py, with nothing of Arduino in it. Start a project |

Also on the board
- I2C1 (touch, I2C port) - SDA GPIO 45, SCL GPIO 46
- WiFiCoprocessor - Wi-Fi co-processor, CLK GPIO 18, CMD GPIO 19, D0 GPIO 17, D1 GPIO 16, D2 GPIO 15, D3 GPIO 14, RST GPIO 54
The ESP32-C6 is this board's Wi-Fi, on lines that are not the ESP32 core's own: these are hardware V1.2's, from Elecrow's own Arduino lesson. A V1.1 board resets the C6 on GPIO 32 instead of 54 - change it here. A V1.0 board runs the link on one data line, which the core's build does not, so it has no Wi-Fi here. Elecrow ship C6 firmware (ESP-Hosted 2.12.3) with a guide to writing it through the P4.
The preset adds these to the Hardware tab with the board, so a sensor can go straight onto the connector.
Check your revision. Nobody at LCD Wizard has had this board: the export for it compiles and has not been seen on the panel. The 7", 9" and 10.1" share every pin and the same 1024x600 EK79007 panel; pins and settings are from Elecrow's own Arduino lessons for each size (51 MHz, 1000 Mbps a lane, hsync 70/160/160, vsync 10/23/21), the same on hardware V1.0 and V1.2. If the screen stays dark with the backlight lit, try 52 MHz with hsync 10/160/160 and vsync 1/23/12, which is what GFX Library for Arduino's own definition of the 7" runs. The touch controller may answer at 0x14 instead of 0x5D. Touch, the panel's reset and the TF card are on GPIO 39-48, which the P4 powers from its LDO channel 4: Arduino ESP32 core 3.3.11 and 3.3.12 switch that on by themselves when the pins are first used; core 3.2.0 does not, and there the touch will not answer. The speaker is an I2S amplifier (BCLK 22, LRCK 21, data 23) switched on by pulling GPIO 30 low. Wi-Fi is the ESP32-C6, in the kit as the Wi-Fi co-processor on hardware V1.2's SDIO lines (CLK 18, CMD 19, D0-D3 17/16/15/14, reset 54, from Elecrow's own Arduino lesson): a V1.1 board resets it on GPIO 32 instead, and a V1.0 board, whose link has one data line, gets no Wi-Fi here. The C6 has to run ESP-Hosted of the core's release, which the board prints at start (see the README). Wi-Fi through it compiles and has not been on a board. Not driven: the TF card (SDMMC CLK 43, CMD 44, D0 39), the PDM microphone (CLK 24, data 26), the camera and the C6's Bluetooth; ESP-NOW does not go through the C6. A design on this preset builds for an ESP32-P4 before revision 3, which is what Elecrow's own ESP-IDF lessons build for; if the upload reports revision 3 ("revision v3.1"), choose that under Hardware > Board > Chip revision.
Designing for it in LCD Wizard
- Choose Elecrow CrowPanel Advanced 10.1 inch ESP32-P4 on the Hardware tab (or use the button above) and every pin on this page is filled in. The export writes the sketch,
lcd_pins.h, the GFX Library for Arduino configuration,lv_conf.handplatformio.ini- a project that builds for this board as it comes. - The GT911 is capacitive and needs no calibration. The firmware resets it and checks it answers on every boot.
- The backlight is dimmable: give a slider or a button a Set backlight action.
- With PSRAM the LVGL memory pool can live there, leaving internal RAM for everything else.
- Screens are designed for 1024 x 600 px in either orientation, with LVGL 9 or LVGL 8.
The parts
EK79007. ESP32-P4 only, with PSRAM. 1024x600 DSI panel: 7" on Espressif's Function EV board, 7", 9" and 10.1" on Elecrow's CrowPanel Advanced P4, and Waveshare's ESP32-P4-WIFI6-Touch-LCD-7B. Compiled, not yet seen on a board.
GT911. The address is selected by the INT pin level during reset, so wire INT and RST if you can.
ESP32-P4. Has a MIPI-DSI host and a 2D graphics accelerator (PPA). Arduino core support is newer - verify your core version.
GFX Library for Arduino. Moshi Liu's library. Best QSPI/AMOLED and RGB coverage. Configured in code.
The pinout on one page
Every pin above, laid out to print and keep beside the bench. Generated from this preset, so it says exactly what the designer writes into lcd_pins.h.

The same pins as data - board.json and pins.csv - are in the open pinout dataset on GitHub, free to reuse under CC BY 4.0.
From the people who made it
The board’s own documentation. Pinouts on vendor pages do sometimes disagree with the hardware in front of you - where this page and that one differ, trust your board and tell us.
